Livestock Interaction

At Hoof It Home Rescue, we understand the importance of mental and physical health. We believe that the interactions between humans and animals is not only just beneficial for the mental and physical health of humans and animals, but it also helps to develop bonds, trust, and respect between them.

We 100% support and encourage individuals seeking out a moment of peace in tough times or those just needing a break from the city life, to come and enjoy spending some one on one time with our rescued livestock!

We offer one on one time with the rescued livestock on our farm for reasonable rates.

At this time, we are not offering trail rides with our horses until spring of 2026.

We do ask that anyone who is coming to spend time with the livestock to be in good health, and to be respectful to the animals and staff.

There will always be staff present on the property for safety purposes.

The Journey Home

Adoption/Rehoming

At Hoof It Home Rescue one of our three goals is to rehome/adopt out the livestock that we have rescued. We don’t consider rehoming/adopting them until they are in the best of health and have had plenty of human interaction.

Any horse that we adopt out will be broke to ride. We do require an adoption application. We do this to make sure that our rescued animals are getting adopted into a home that has the proper knowledge in how to properly care for the animal that they are choosing to adopt.

Adoption/rehoming fees vary with each animal.
